25 – California to Oshkosh Family Adventure

This episode is a story of a family trip to Oshkosh AirVenture, a very unique family trip to Oshkosh.

James Good lives in California, and he, his wife and son went to Oshkosh AirVenture 2019. While that is certainly special, what’s unique about their story is that James flew his two seat 1948 Ercoupe, while his wife and son made the trip in their car and met him at his stops along the way.

What an unforgettable family vacation!

James chronicled this trip on his YouTube channel (link below) – you should check it out!

So about two years after he got his pilot’s license, James landed at Oshkosh in his own airplane (a classic vintage airplane at that), flying it all the way from California with his wife and son joining him along the way.

If that wasn’t enough, James’ aviation story also has connections to pilots of a Tiger Moth, a Luscombe, and the U2.

You are in for a treat with this episode!
